Attending the Nutrition and Sports Conference held at the University of Arizona, Dr. Robert Lutz talked about fitness and “play.”

When we play we are much happier and accepting of the exercise involved in that play. ” So, as adults with busy lives what do we play that also involves improving our physical fitness and overall wellness?”  A great start is jumping on the mini trampoline or rebounder.  An instant smile comes across your face when you step on and start bouncing.  The best part of rebounding is just be free, do what you feel, involve your kids even make a game out of it.  Rebounding exercise is a great way to improve cardiovascular fitness, strengthen the entire body, challenge your balance and best of all a nice tool for weightloss. Health benefits like lymphatic circulation are best done with exercises that slowly move the lymphatic fluid.  The lymphatic system does not have a pump like the heart does to move fluid, rather it requires muscular contraction and the pull of gravity.  Bouncing is a great way to move lymph fluid helping remove waste from our cells and does not jar the body.
